Le réseau international « Encore féministes ! » (4 770 membres dans 56 pays) s'associe à une pétition demandant la création d'un Tribunal pénal international pour juger les viols utilisés comme arme de guerre dans la République Démocratique du Congo. En témoignant notre solidarité aux victimes, nous demandons que cesse l'impunité des violeurs.

Le Tribunal pénal international pour le Rwanda, créé par l'ONU en 1994 et siégeant à Arusha (au nord de la Tanzanie), cessera ses activités en 2014. Nous demandons que le tribunal pour la RD du Congo lui succède, bénéficiant ainsi de ses moyens et de ses archives judiciaires.

Cette pétition, lancée par l'avocat congolais Maître Hamuli Rety, est adressée au secrétaire général de l'ONU et à d'autres dirigeants. The international network “Still feminists!'' (4 770 members in 56 countries) supports a petition asking to create an International Criminal Tribunal to judge rape used as a weapon of war in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In solidarity with the victims, we are calling for an end to impunity for the rapists.
The International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, created by the UN in 1994 and located in Arusha (Northern Tanzania), will cease its activities in 2014. We ask that the International Criminal Tribunal for DR of Congo succeed it, thereby taking advantage of its archives, experience and infrastructure.
This petition, launched by the Congolese lawyer Hamuli Rety, is addressed to the UN General Secretary and to other world leaders.
